An advertisement has been issued by Border Security Force (BSF) for recruitment on 3277 vacant posts of Constable (Tradesman) in different trades. So, it invites applications in the prescribed format only from eligible male Indian candidates. Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Educational Qualifications: Candidates must be passed 10th standard or its equivalent examination from a recognized university or board. Candidates should have also 02 years of working experience in relevant trades / 01 year of certificate course / 02 years of diploma in the trade or similar trade from industrial training institute.
Age Limit (as on 01/08/2012): should not be less than 18 years and not be more than 23 years.
Physical standard:
Height – 167.5 cm, Chest – 78 to 83 cm and Weight should be according to height as per medical standard.
Eye Sight: without wearing glasses.
Application Fee: Rs. 50/- that should be paid in the shape of Postal Order / Demand Draft in favour of concerned IG / DIG / Commandant payable at bank of concerned headquarter under which their state falls. Candidates who belong to SC / ST / EXS category are not needed to pay the application fee.
How to apply: To apply for the post, candidates are required to submit their neatly and correctly filled in applications in the prescribed format that may be downloaded from the website of BSF to the concerned recruiting agency of BSF latest by 14th June 2012. The relevant enclosures such as attested copies of certificates in proof of educational qualification, age, caste etc., applicable DD, 01 self addressed envelope (23*10 cm) affixed with postage stamp Rs. 5/- must be attached with the applications.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has made announcement right now for organizing 2012 National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) exam II. Therefore, it is great opportunity for Aspirant looking to crack the prestigious examination like NDA / NA. Simply UPSC NDA / NA exam is mother of all competitive exam at 12th standard. Indian Nationals born between 2nd July 1994 to 01st January 1997, remains unmarried, also completed 12th or equivalent are eligible to be part of NDA / NA Exam II, which will be organised on 19th August 2012. Eligibility Norms
Academic Qualification: – Candidates should have passed 12th under scheme of 10+2 pattern from recognized board of university.
However, those are pursing 12th standard are also eligible to send their applications.
Age Limit: – Should be born between 02.07.1994 to 01.01.1997.
Physical Standard: – Minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm for all wings except Air Force Wing. Height of candidates should not be less than 162.5 cm for Air Force wing. Height would be reduced by 05 cm for candidates of North East, Hilly areas. 02 cm height deduction will be given to resident of Lakshdweep.
Chest of candidates should not be less than 76 cm, while minimum 05 cm extension is required.
Selection Procedure: - The process of selection contains Written Test followed by Intelligence and Personality Test.
Application Fee: – Rs. 50/- only is required to remit as application fee.
Mode of Payment: – By using either Visa / Master / Credit / Debit Card or depositing shown amount through Net banking of SBI / State Bank of Bikaner / Maysore / Patiala / Hyderabad / Travancore.
Fee Exemption: – Candidate of SC/ST or sons of JCO / NCO are not needed to pay any application fee.
