RBI Legal Officer Vacancy Details
Name of Position – Legal Officer Grade ‘B’
No. of vacant Position – 06 Vacancies (UR – 04, OBC -02)
Essential Educational Qualification (As counted on 01/01/2013) – Graduation in Law with minimum 50% marks (For PWD – 45% ) or equivalent grade and registered as an Advocate.
Desirable – Law Graduate with 60% marks and Good knowledge of Computers.
Experience - Minimum two years experience as a Law Officer or Advocate. Special Knowledge of Company Law, Banking Law, Labour Law and Constitutional Law is desirable.
Age Limit – Maximum 32 years (As on 01/01/2013). Relaxation in upper age limit will given up to 03 years for LL.M degree holder and up to 05 years for Ph.D Degree holder, 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PH Person and for others as per Govt. of Indian norms.
Pay Scale - 21000-1000-30000-EB-1000-32000-1100-36400/- and other allowances per month.
Selection Process – Written Exam and Interview
Nature of Post – Selection will on probation period of two year which can be increased to maximum four years.
Date of Written Exam – 31/03/2013 (Sunday)
Application Fee – Rs. 100/- (SC/ ST/PWD Category Persons are exempted from paying application fee.
Mode of Payment – Application fee should be deposited through Demand Draft/ Indian Post Orders in favour of ‘Reserve Bank of India, Payable at Mumbai. Applicant must write their Name and Address on the back side of DD or IPO. DD or IPO should be attached with application fee.
