A recruitment notification for the post of Sailors for MR (Musician) has been issued by Indian Navy. Positions: Sailor for MR (Musician) – 2/2012 Batch
Qualifications: Class 10th Passed from recognized board with musical ability such as Western Notation, Aural Aptitude and Knowledge of theory of Music. They must have Practical knowledge on any musical instrument
Age: Candidates should be born between 01/10/1991 and 30/09/1995.
Payment: Initially, candidates will be paid of RsRs.5700 PM and after completion of training they will be placed in the Pay Band of Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2000 GP + Rs.2000 DA
Medical Standard:
1. Height: 157 cms
2. Weight & Chest should be Proportionate with minimum chest expansion of 5 cms
3. Eye Sight: 6/60 and 6/60 with Glasses and 6/9 & 6/24 with Glasses
Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of Musical Screening Test, PFT and Medical Examination. Only short listed candidates will be called for Screening Test which will be held from 02/07/2012 to 06/07/2012
