1. Police Constable Grade-II – 12152 Posts
2. Jail Warders Grade-II – 377 Posts
3. Firemen – 791 Posts
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.1900 GP
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must be class 10th Passed from recognized board
Age Limit: Minimum age of candidates should be 18 years and maximum should be 24 years as on 01/07/2012. Relaxation in age for SC / ST / OBC Candidates will be given as per Govt. Rule
Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of written examination, PET and Interview. Written Examination will be of 80 Marks consisting of Multiple Choice Questions. The Test will be based on General Knowledge carrying 50 marks and Psychology of 30 Marks.
How to apply: Application for the Post of Police Constable, Jail Warder and Fireman will be made in the prescribed format which can be collected from 284 Post Offices of Tamil Nadu States.
