Pay Scale – Rs. 5200-20,200/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 28,00/- Per Month
Age Limit - Applicant’s Age should be between 18 to 25 years as reckoned on 31/05/2012. Relaxation in upper age will be give to SC/ ST Candidates up to 05 years and OBC Candidates up to 03 years.
Educational Qualification- Candidate should have completed Intermediate from recognized Board. Candidate should have also knowledge of shorthand with speed of 80 words per minute. Candidates should have awareness of computer operation.
Physical Qualification – Candidate should have following physical standard –
For ST Candidates – Height – 162.5 cms (Male), 154 c.ms (Female), Chest – 77 cms ( For Male only)
For Far Flung Area Candidates – Height -165 cms (Male), 155cms (Female), Chest – 80 cms (For Male Only)
For Rest of All Candidates- Height – 170 cms (Male), 157 cms (Female), Chest – 80cms (Only for Male)
Note – Minimum 5 cm expansion is essential for chest.
Weight – According to height and medical standards.
Eye Vision- 6/6, 6/9
Selection Process – Selection process comprises of Physical Efficiency Test, Written Exam, Skill test and Medical Examination.
Application Fee – An Amount of Rs.50/- in shape of Bank Draft/ IPO / CRFS Stamp in favour of Deputy Inspector General (Delhi), I.T.B. Police, Payable at S.B.I, R.K.Puram, New Delhi, Code No. -1076. Bank DD/ IPO should be enclosed with application. SC/ST and Women Candidates are not required to pay any fee.
How to Apply – Candidates having shown eligibility for the above post of ASI / Stenographer and want to apply the same should apply in only prescribed format of application. A recent passport size photograph should be pasted on the application. Attested photocopies of all documents in regard of Educational Qualification, Date of birth, Experience (If any), Caste (If applicable), two recent passport size, and two self addressed envelope with pasted Rs.5/-Stamp on each etc should be attached with application. Indian Forest Service Exam 2012 of UPSC
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published a notification for conducting examination of Indian Forest Service (IFS). Regarding IFS 2012 exam, applications through Online Mode are invited by UPSC from eligible Indian Nationals by 14th May 2012. Candidates who have completed Bachelor Degree in either stream and their age are not above than 30 years are eligible and they can become part of written test, which begins form 14th July 2012, after sending their online applications within stipulated timing. Details of IFS 2012 Exam
Limitation of Age: – Applicants age should not be less than 21 years and not above than 30 years; while age will be reckoned on 01st August 2012. However, relaxation in upper age will be applicable by 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PWD candidates.
Educational Qualification: – Candidates should have passed Bachelor Degree exam with specialization of any one as: Animal Husbandry / Botany / Chemistry / Geology / Math / Physics / Zoology / Veterinary Science / Agriculture / Forestry or Engineering.
Exam Fee: – Rs. 100/- is required to deposit at any of SBI Branch as exam fee. Candidates can either pay such amount of exam fee through Net Banking such Debit or Credit card.
Fee Exemptions: – Candidates representing SC/ST /PH and Female category need not require to pay any exam fee.
Process of Selection: – The selection process comprises test of Written Exam followed by Interview as well as personality test.
